About Us
1997 - Search Direct UK Limited was founded by Derek Davies and Ceri John combining their joint wealth of experience and expertise. Originally operating out of a single office in Bridgend, South Wales, the company's conveyancing searches proved a success with both local and distant law firms.
2002 - As the range of services increased, extra staff were brought in and it became clear that one office would no longer be suitable. The company moved to larger premises and steadily recruited more staff members over the following three years to meet demand.
2005 - Mahesh Kerai joined Search Direct UK as Operations Director bringing his exceptional skills and experience to the company.
2006 - By October of this year Search Direct UK had outgrown it's office space yet again and moved to its current address on Coity Road, Bridgend.
2007 - The company continued to expand its services and in May purchased GWS Legal Services based in Cardiff and gained the knowledge and expertise of our newest Director Gary Davies.
2008 - Derek retired In July of this year after eleven prosperous years and the company peaked with thirty members of staff. Unfortunately, with the recession starting to hit home the company had to close the former GWS office in Cardiff at the end of the year and move all operations to the main office in Bridgend.
2009 - Despite the difficulties that many businesses have faced in the economy, Search Direct UK Limited performance remains strong and challenges the recession with a new business venture, purchasing BIRR Legal services in February to expand the company formations side of the company.
